To introduce myself, here's my bio:

Alessandro Ludovico
From 1993 is the editor in chief of Neural, new media culture magazine in English/Italian. He edited: in 1992 'Virtual Reality Handbook'; in 1995 'Internet.Underground.Guide', an underground net guide with one of the first music compilation assembled via email; in 2000 'Suoni Futuri Digitali' (Future Digital Sounds), an in-depth research on the history of the innovations to produce and experience sounds. He's one of the founding members of the Nettime list and of the 'Mag.Net (Magazine Network of Electronic Cultural Publishers)' organization. Now he writes for Springerin (A), Mute (UK), MyTech-Mondadori.com (I) Dividuum (CH) and RTSI (CH-Italian language Switzerland RadioTV). In 2001 he joined the n.a.m.e. (normal audio media environment) art group developing the 'Sonic Genoma' sound art project. In the same year he organized the 'Liberation Technologies' conference in Bari (I). From 2002 he's a collaborator of the Digitalkraft (D) exhibitions, expert in the Runme.org (FI) board, curator of new media art in the Dissonanze festival (I), and has joined panels in Transmediale (D), Post-Media Publishing (E), Next 5 Minutes (NL), Venice Biennale (I) and Read_me (FI). He also conducts 'Neural Station' a weekly radio show on electronic music and digital culture, and daily updates the Neural website [http://neural.it/english/] and [http://neural.it].
